The YAP – Youth Workers Against Poverty project focuses on youth workers, recognizing their important role as drivers of change in local communities. In a context marked by growing social challenges – intensified by economic pressures, instability, and new forms of exclusion – there is a clear need for more focused and inclusive approaches. Top-down strategies often fall short in addressing these complex issues. In response, the project supports bottom-up methods that strengthen the ability of communities to meet local needs through the active involvement of youth workers. To achieve this, the Training Course employs a range of non-formal education methodologies, including experiential learning, peer-to-peer exchange, reflective practices, and participatory workshops. These methods are designed to foster critical thinking, personal development, and active citizenship, while also enhancing the practical skills and confidence of youth workers in facilitating meaningful community engagement.

Target group:

Youth workers, educators, trainers, personnel from NGOs, instructors.

Accommodation and meals (except during free time) will be fully covered. Participants will share rooms (4 per room) – single rooms are not available.
